• Race Buffs
This was confirmed earlier and i had a suggestion to what they should be
Warrior : +30% Adoch & +15% HP
Rouge : +25% Speed & +25% Adoch
Giant : +35% Defense & +20% HP
Elf : +30% DMMT & + 50 INT
• Lower the experience rates to around x125
Of course alot of you might not be wanting this. It's just a suggestion that I believe would be good for a few reasons.
1. It will give the grinding a more challenging experience. You need to kill more monsters, and by doing so will gain more penya/item/chips drops
2. It will mean that players need to put actual effort into reach that highest level and it should be more rewarding then it currently is aswell as have players stick around for a longer time.
3. It will most likely increase the player base and for once, you will actually be able to have another person leeching/lvling with you rather then just dual logging and leveling alone.
(Of course there are alot more reasons but those are a few.)
• Increase max level cap
Increasing the level cap would of course give us even more to grind for, more stats mainly aswell as level requirements.
• Add in more items ( If possible new models, not same as other servers )
This would obviously be needed along with the level cap increase, more grinding means it should be more rewarding.
And of course it should have its final level equipment aswell, so equipment that can only be used at the highest level,
but also actual new models, and not just the kind of models all servers are already using, there are several new ones that can be found,
especially on sites like epvpers where there are alot of content creators for flyff ( both free and for payments ).
• New dungeons/caves/areas
This also is something that would be required for a level cap, new leveling zones, new challenging dungeons ( that cannot be cleared solo! )
maybe a market place, farming grounds etc etc
• "End" game bosses
Currently from what ive felt the final end game content is just farming/awakening, but there isn't much you can do after you've finished
upgrading your items either apart from just pvp since doing bosses is currently not worth it.
• 4th job ( if possible )
This is something that would definetly bring in alot of players if it would be made in a good way, obviously something that isnt going to be done in a day, or a week or even a month
But if it could be done, it would definetly give a big big plus for both the players already playing, and for the players who hopefully will join in the future.
( and as the admins already know im more then willing to do the sfx work for you guys! )
• A new crafting system ( if possible )
This is also something that could become a unique thing for just this server, a crafting system to create weapons working in a similar fashion to
the unqiue/ultimate creation of items. For example making higher level dungeons drop different materials that can only be obtainable from there to create the higher level
items, also requiring a +10 dragonbane weapon already to attempt the creation. This would mean the players cant just go straight for the end game equipement without actually
farming to get items beforehand, it would also make players have to do more then just 1 dungeon over and over again and instead farm different dungeons for different materials.
• New armor glows ( Not just a "re-color!" )
Something i've already spoken to the admins about, and again, i am more the willing to make the sfx work!
An actual change to the armor glows and not just changing it to a blade, or a spinning star etc.
But instead change it completely to make it look unique. If possible make a way to make glows based on race or job class.
For example : a +8 set for a force user to make a "phantom" shield appear that is glowing and fading slightly, +10 would make the body glow aswell as a phantom shield and knuckle would appear.
(this might not be possible to do though)
• Player events/mini-games
Make the lord able to start events such as king of the hill in guild mode, maybe having 3 guilds against each other and the more players that
are at the "hill" the faster they gain points, maybe capture the flag if that would be possible somehow or make some kind of mini-game boss fight similar to Colosseum.
• Custom Quests
This is also something that would be quite interesting, a custom quest, maybe an entire story line with alot of quests in it just for this server that gives rewards that are worth doing
both xp and penya wise, maybe even grant you items as a reward. ( fighting bosses, a large amount of monsters and so on would probably be the most suited for quests )
• Random Event Bosses
( Thank you Imoki for the idea of random event bosses )
To make a few different spawn locations on every major map ( Darkon, Darkon 1, Darkon 3, Saint morning, Flairs, Bahara, elliun, Garden of herpaderp <- dont remember the name...)
about 3 or 4 different spawn locations on each of those outside the cities where random bosses could spawn, maybe customize a giant bang to change its size + textures and do so for several monsters,
could have some "mutate" theme to it like saying that a monster has mutated in one of the maps.
for example : Server announces that a monster has came in contant with a curse and mutated to become stronger then it was before.
A giant ( slightly larger then the bang found in darkon 1, north of the respawn site in the mountains ) can then be found wandering around for players to fight
Deppending on what monster location it would spawn at, it should be stronger, so the bang shouldnt be a lvl 150+ boss fight and rather be something for
those around maybe 90ish, so if a monster "mutates" ( simply just code it to randomly choose location and it lands somewhere in bahara ) it would be a high level boss
due to the monsters levels. So all in all, the monster spawns closest to the location of the spawn should decide what giant is going to spawn.
( just to make sure everyone understands, if the location is close to aibatts, a giant aibatt should spawn, if its close to greemongs, it should be a greemong boss etc etc)
• Balancing out classes
This is something players might both be pleased and get upset over but is something that definitely needs to be done to keep the server interesting and fair.
Balancing out classes such as rms, bps and so on in both pve and pvm.
For example a bp nor a rm is suppose to be able to act as a tank, especially not a ring master, they are not classes that was ever made to work in that fashion and shouldnt really be that way either.
Yes a bp should be able to stack up with a decent amount of health, a rm should not and they should be focused more on being actual supports and not tanks or some kind of damage dealer
and as for bps they are made to be a good consistent damage dealer, while still being able to take a few punches without getting killed. But not act as a main tank.
A blade is just a high damage dealer, and should be easily taken out, which is why proper tanks is required to actually take that damage for them.
Alot of servers, and sadly that goes for this one aswell, has the issue of the classes in the game not being used for what they are suppose to be so i would suggest to first rebalance the PvE aspect of all classes.
Knight
More defense and health
( should be one of the last to be re-balanced to see where other classes end up with their health pool )
Slayer
Nothing much to change about it apart from decreasing their health abit.
Billposter
Increase damage slightly and decrease their health gain from stamina.
Ringmaster
Increase the strength of their buffs, decrease the duration time quite abit to
make rms go int and not full sta, add AoE holy cross to help out in lvling if they leech.
Psykeeper & Menalists
I cant say much about since i dont play them very often.
I know a psy can reach very high damage but its more burst then
consistent like a blade. so cant really say much about them.
Rangers
I don't feel like anything needs to change with them, they dont have over the top damage,
they are an aoe class and can do full stamina to tank or full dex to HnR aoe + single target damage.
Jesters
I've never actually played one, like, ever, so I cannot say anything at all about this class either.
Since this apparently doesn't seem to be clear to alot of people reading.
the balancing classes is my personal opinion, i cant speak for all classes since i have tried all the classes on
this server yet and im just suggesting it for a longer and more unique game play rather then build a character to whatever random
build you want, going full sta = tank on any class for example, it shouldnt work that way because classes arent made to work like that and
quite frankly just means that the knight class should be removed all together as it loses its entire purpose in the game completely,
asal bps are stronger then jesters in pvp so there we go, that class also all of the sudden became useless and going on about it will just end up
